In October 2019, we underwent a long-awaited rebrand. Loom was officially launched on the 3rd of October 2019.
After 10 long and successful years of being called Digrank, we now have a name and a brand identity that we feel truly represents our service and how we work with our clients today.
In this post, we explain in detail why we moved away from Digirank, what our rebrand means for our clients and partners, and how it reflects our expert digital marketing service.
A changing industry and our evolving service
When Digirank started back in 2009, our service largely centred around search marketing. Ranking a website on Google organically and in the paid space was the core element of our service – but as digital marketing has evolved, so have we.
Nowadays, digital marketing is about the whole user journey. It’s about how digital channels such as PPC & biddable media, SEO, social media, content marketing and data & analytics come together to form a unified digital strategy, joining the dots across multiple user touchpoints.
And that’s what we’re all about. Making sure all digital marketing channels work together in a joined-up way so that our client’s digital marketing achieves more.
So, when we decided to rebrand about a year ago, it was vital our name and our brand message communicated this. We wanted a name that truly reflected who we are, the amazing work we do for our clients and how we work with them.
Goodbye Digirank, Hello Loom
To us, Loom makes perfect sense. It sums up exactly what we do: weave the different threads of digital marketing channels to generate exceptional results for the businesses we work with.
It also represents how we work with our clients. It symbolises how we weave our team with theirs, creating the close partnerships that help businesses reach new heights. It demonstrates how we weave together our team of digital specialists – each one an expert in a specific channel – to achieve incredible results for the businesses we work with.
This brand change is a way of putting a name to our natural evolution, better representing what it is that we do.
What’s changed?
When it comes to our service, it’s business as usual. Our clients will continue to receive the high level of expert digital marketing that they’re used to, as will our partners. We’re still independently owned, and focused on delivering the best results for the businesses we work with.
The only change is that our brand and website now fully represents that service.
