We are always moving forward and striving for better, and this year has been no exception. In an ever-changing digital world, we have embraced industry changes, identifying, upskilling and introducing new opportunities for both our agency and clients.

As we celebrate our 15th birthday, we’re reflecting on how far we’ve come as a business and how our services have developed over time. We genuinely care about our clients and their businesses, and have spent the last 15 years ensuring that we’re offering the best service possible.

“Loom is always moving forward and striving for better. Our services and our expertise evolve and adapt in tandem with an ever-changing digital world. We love pushing our clients forward and growing our agency skills and knowledge.”

This year, we’ve grown our services to support our clients, read on to find out what’s new.

Data & Analytics

Data has always been at the core of what we do, so this year we’ve levelled up and welcomed Lukas, our Data & Analytics expert. He’s leading our data and analytics pod , helping clients get ahead of their competitors and have a clearer picture of their marketing performance.

With many recent industry changes and developments, including the arrival of GA4 and the depreciation of cookies, we know it’s never been more important to ensure you’re collecting the right data and know how best to use it with your digital strategy.

Our service focuses on reporting and data that you can trust to inform actionable changes and includes:

  • Consent mode
  • Enhanced conversion tracking package
  • Offline conversion tracking
  • Google Analytics training

… and much more. Lukas and the wider Loom team are armed with years of experience and expertise, and are ready to take your marketing to the next level.

Paid media

Our Paid Media strategies have taken our clients from strength to strength – but that doesn’t mean we’ve been sitting idle. We’ve been upskilling and widening our service to include new channels and strategies.

The past 15 years have been a whirlwind of change in the paid media landscape. But one thing remains constant: Loom’s unwavering dedication to staying ahead of the curve. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re even more excited for what the future holds.”

Programmatic advertising

Programmatic advertising has historically been challenging to access without huge media spend, due to the commission going to resellers. Now, we’ve partnered with StackAdapt to make it more accessible to advertisers with different budgets.

Our StackAdapt partnership allows us to place adverts in locations beyond those owned by Google and Meta. This means being seen in the places where people spend time online, including podcasts and audiobooks, in-game placements, streaming services, and video and display.

With results from the Google Display Network dwindling, StackAdapt allows us to reach users at the top of the funnel and target audiences who are not actively searching for specific products or services. We can level up our clients’ paid media advertising with powerful cross-channel marketing, providing a complete omnichannel strategy and ensuring that businesses never miss an opportunity to connect with a customer.

TikTok Ads

TikTok is the fastest-growing social media channel and introduces your business to a whole new audience – and not just Gen Z. It’s a platform designed for engagement, with users ready to interact with their favourite businesses and influencers. We’ve been working with our clients to make the most of TikTok Ads, putting their brands front and centre with compelling, scroll-stopping ads.

Vikki and Ina, Loom’s TikTok specialists, recently visited TikTok HQ for the Agency Growth Summit. They learned more about the app’s algorithm and best practices, leaving with plenty of ideas to trial across our client accounts. They even put their new-found knowledge into practice and made their own TikTok while at the event – something that we all then tried upon their return as part of their interactive KnowledgeShare session.

TikTok is known for its user-centric ways and being ahead of the curve in terms of trends – something that resonates with us here at Loom. We’ve explored the impact of TikTok on digital marketing industry in our guide, or you can speak to us to find out more.

“TikTok isn’t just silly dances, it’s an incredibly powerful platform. If you nail your content creation and turn up consistently, you have an opportunity to develop a very loyal online community for your business.”

Consultancy

We recognise that the agency delivery model isn’t right for every business. So this year, we’ve introduced our consultancy service to help clients deliver a powerful digital marketing strategy using their in-house team. This service will look different for everyone, depending on your business and industry challenges and requirements.

As part of our service, you can pick the brains of our Paid Media and SEO wizards and turn their insights into action. Whether you’re launching a new website or simply want a fresh pair of eyes on your advertising accounts, we’re here to help. How we work together is led by you and your team, meaning that you receive a tailored strategy that sees your performance flourish.

Tailor-made training

We like to think of ourselves as a digital marketing force with plenty of knowledge to share. Our Digital Masterclasses aim to up-skill general knowledge in all aspects of our digital marketing and are bespoke to each client’s requirements and areas of interest. They include:

  • SEO – SEO doesn’t have to be a mystery. We’ll explain the complexities and nuances of SEO in plain English and in the context of your business, leaving you feeling clearer and with some actionable tactics to improve your organic visibility.
  • Content – SEO content is more than adding keywords to every other sentence. Our content experts will provide tips for ideation, optimisation and writing for the web.
  • Digital marketing strategy – whether you feel that your current strategy needs a refresh or you’re not sure where to start, we can show you the key considerations so you can craft your own successful marketing strategy.
  • Data / GA4 training – GA4 can seem like a minefield. But we at Loom love digging deep into data and can share our tips and tricks with you and your team.
  • Paid Media – our Paid Media team are managing accounts day in, day out, meaning they have so much experience to share. We upskill in-house marketing teams, to enable them to take accounts to the next level.

These masterclasses are tailored to your business needs, taking into account your teams’ understanding of various platforms and what they need from us to ensure they find value in our sessions.

Creative

Advertising online is increasingly visual. We’ve been exploring ways to best help clients get the visual assets they need. This has included introducing our own internal design service, through which we design core banner ads and assets for paid social campaigns, producing eye-catching visuals that entice users and encourage clicks from all corners of the internet.

For videos or larger projects, we now have a growing network of freelancers, video production and creative agencies to help recommend the right partner for our clients. These partnerships enable us to maximise the performance of your campaigns and ensure that your brand is always on top form.

Content writing

Our content writing service was born from an SEO need, but today, it offers so much more than that. Our content pod is made up of experienced writers with SEO running through their veins and excellent writing-for-web skills.

While SEO plays a key role, it’s not all we consider when creating quality content. SEO writing comes with its own guidelines, which we carefully balance with your tone of voice, brand messaging and values, as well as the capabilities of your content management system (CMS). In an era where consumers want brands to be more human and connect with their audiences, our content writers can craft a range of content that resonates with users throughout their buying journey.

Now Loom offers:

  • In-depth blogs and articles – including how-to guides, thought leadership, listicles and more.
  • Content strategies – which include keyword and competitor research, industry immersion and creating an editorial calendar for your business.
  • Landing pages – including e-commerce pages (category and product pages), service pages, homepages and hubpages.
  • Content optimisations – following a content audit, we’ll optimise existing content to ensure it always aligns with industry trends and SEO best practices.

We’ll take a deep dive into any topic for any industry, no matter how technical or complex. Learn more about our content service here.

What’s next for Loom?

The last 15 years have been full of ups and downs for both businesses and the marketing industry – and who knows what the next 15 will bring? That’s why we at Loom are always looking to the future and evolving our services, ensuring that we’re always offering the best for our clients.

REFRESHED SEO packages

We’ve been honing our holistic approach to SEO for the last 15 years, evolving our strategies as algorithms adjust. But the one thing that doesn’t change is our goal of ensuring your website attracts relevant and powerful organic traffic through onsite optimisation and technical health.

We hope our refreshed SEO package will give new and existing clients the best route to long-term success. In the meantime, you can read more about our SEO services here.

AI

Artificial Intelligence has taken the world by storm. AI can be a powerful tool for enhancing processes and gathering more insights that can elevate our work – but it also has its limitations.

At Loom, we are continuously looking at where we can use AI to enhance the execution of our deep-thinking strategy and optimisations, applying its features to client strategies and ensuring they reap the benefits. With this research comes deciding when to use AI and when not. We believe that artificial intelligence doesn’t replace the human touch and should be used responsibly, which is why we’re always having discussions on where AI tools should excel.

Here’s to 15 years

We spend every birthday looking back on the year and reflecting on various achievements and challenges within the agency and the industry as a whole. But our 15th birthday feels different – with a new look, new clients and new services to offer them, we’re more excited than ever to see what the next year will bring for Loom.

“We’re proud to celebrate our 15th Birthday with a new look, B-Corp certification and expanded services. Thank you to our clients for their continued loyalty and trust they place in us. And to the Loom team, for embodying our values to ensure that we’re always striving to deliver an exceptional service.”
