We’re super proud to reveal that Loom are finalists for the ‘Best Use of Search’ award at this year’s Wirehive 100.
The prestigious Wirehive Awards was launched back in 2012 to celebrate digital excellence across the wealth of talent in the South of England.
In the 2017 awards, Digirank has been shortlisted for the Best Use of Search award – acknowledging outstanding results in natural or paid search. It was necessary for the Digirank team to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the search world as well as creativity, sound strategy and tangible ROI.
Digirank is up against eight other fantastic digital marketing agencies, with the winner to be announced at the awards ceremony on the 12th October in Southampton.
Our entry celebrated the great results we’ve achieve for our long-standing client Permagard, a Bristol-based damp proofing and basement waterproofing specialist.
Our team devised an on-site optimisation and content strategy that aimed to reach users at all stages of their buying journey. This included industry-leading How To Guides, providing the answers to informational queries for both DIY users and specialist contractors. Our high-standard of content, based on user intent, helped the site dramatically increase its organic rankings and revenue.
A social media strategy tied this neatly together. We focussed on a dedicated LinkedIn page to showcase the How To guides and used Facebook to target the content to niche audiences.
“Working with a company like Permagard is a genuine pleasure. As a business, they are ambitious, professional and responsive to our ideas. It gives us the freedom to stay ahead of the curve and implement joined-up bespoke digital strategies that reap real world results. Being shortlisted for the Wirehive 100 award is a real honour and we’re delighted. It is also testament to the great partnership we have with Permagard.”Tom Spooner, Head of Content and SEO
Loom also used Google Ads to drive foot traffic from local contractors to Permagard’s Bristol trade counter. A supporting display banner campaign targeted the local area to raise awareness amongst target audience. This has increased trade counter footfall dramatically.
The results of the Permagard search campaign speak for themselves, with total revenue increasing by 37% in a year and total traffic increasing by 36%. We look forward to seeing more fantastic results in the future for Permagard.
