We’re proud to announce that Loom have been shortlisted for an award at this year’s prestigious BIMA Awards.
The BIMA Awards are the longest standing digital awards in the UK and celebrate British digital work pushing the limits across innovation, craft and impact, making a difference in business, culture and society.
Loom are proud members of BIMA, a collective of thought leaders, champions and change makers determining the shape of Britain’s digital economy. The organisation’s mission is to drive innovation and excellence across the digital industry.
Communications Award
In the 2018 awards, Loom has been shortlisted for the ‘Communications and Content: Small Budget’ Award, acknowledging the outstanding use of digital and interactive communications on a small budget. We were shortlisted for the award after demonstrating excellent advertising and marketing that set a new bar for communications and content, driving the digital performance of our client’s business forward whilst keeping costs low.
Loom is up against two other fantastic entries, with the winner to be announced at the awards ceremony on the 13th September in London.
Integrated digital marketing strategy
Our entry celebrated the great results we’ve achieved for Bristol-based Naked Flooring, a specialist in 100% natural flooring. The company felt their digital marketing was stagnant and stunting their growth as a business. Loom was approached to turn around their marketing strategy and reinvigorate sales.
Our team devised a tailor-made search and social media strategy. Naked Flooring saw a 45% increase in revenue through their website in the first six month of the new strategy. The brand now has a B2C consumer base and has managed to tap into the B2B market which was a brand-new audience for them as a business.
“The BIMA Awards are one of the longest standing and most prestigious digital awards in the UK, so we are delighted to have picked up a shortlist nomination for the 2018 Awards. We’re up against some of the finest digital agencies in the UK. Best of luck to all the shortlisted agencies for the 13th September.”Nicola Ellison, Loom Founder and Director
Loom identified two key channels for growth and focused on these. Those key channels were online search (SEO & PPC) and social media. The results of the Naked Flooring strategy illustrate the success of the new strategy. In just six months Naked Flooring saw a 500% increase in sales through the website, whilst achieving an average ROI of 482% through their bespoke rug creator.
At Loom HQ, we’re eagerly awaiting the results and will be keeping our fingers crossed. As a digital marketing agency, developing integrated digital campaigns is key to what we do, combining core areas such as PPC, SEO and social media marketing.
