We’re thrilled to announce that Vicky Hockley has been selected to appear on this year’s BIMA100 list!
Founded in 1985, BIMA (the British Interactive Media Association) represents Britain’s digital and technology community and is one of the most widely respected names in the digital industry.
To celebrate the individuals who are shaping the British digital industry, BIMA releases the BIMA100 every year. This list commends one hundred digital leaders and experts who have shown true commitment and contribution to the digital industry over the past 12 months. The final BIMA100 list is decided by a panel of leading digital experts.
This is the Loom team’s second BIMA100 selection. Vicky’s 2020 title follows on from Karen Pearce’s win last year.
Selected as BIMA100 “Champions for Change”
Vicky has been selected as part of BIMA100’s Champions for Change category. This category recognises, “the people who are using their professional skills or resources to achieve social good, to change industry cultures for the better, or to bring new and more diverse talent into our industry and give it the support to flourish.”
Vicky’s personal dedication to doing good in and out of the office (she volunteers every Saturday at a dog rescue centre amongst other good deeds) is what made her the ideal candidate for the Champions for Change category.
Since being given her second role as People & Culture lead, Vicky has worked tirelessly to bring a wider sense of purpose to each of Loom’s employees. By speaking to everyone individually and proactively looking after their social, personal and professional needs, Vicky has made sure our employees can fulfil their professional and personal goals. In turn, this makes our jobs more fulfilling, meaningful and enjoyable.
Undoubtedly, her work within this role is challenging and changing the idea of how digital agency life should be – for the better.
I’m so pleased to be included on the BIMA100 list for 2020. It’s a real honour to be recognised for the initiatives we’ve introduced at Loom in order to change our industry culture for the better. I’m so pleased to help shine the spotlight on Loom and the incredible team that has made this all a reality.
Vicky Hockley, Senior Account Manager & People & Culture lead, Loom
“We’re thrilled that Vicky’s been recognised in this year’s BIMA100 list. Vicky is a huge asset to our team, both on a professional and social level, and has played a pivotal role in shaping Loom’s unique culture. We are all so proud of you!”
Nikki Ellison – Director and Founder, Loom
Following social distancing guidelines, the announcement was made at an online ceremony hosted by BIMA on 6 May. The ceremony focused on the breadth of achievement of this year’s BIMA 100, demonstrating that there’s no single route to success within the industry.
